📢 ATTENTION, BUSINESS OWNERS!
Let ICE know they are NOT WELCOME in your establishment.
Workers and small businesses are the backbone of our communities, yet ICE enforcement is putting both at risk. Know your workplace rights, stand up for your employees, and display these signs to show solidarity with immigrant families. ICE can't enter you business or workplace without your explicit consent or a valid judicial warrant signed by a criminal court judge.
What to do if Immigration Comes to Your Workplace
And what about off-duty ICE agents?
Your business has a voice, too. Make your values clear and as a private business you have the right to refuse services to anyone. An individual’s occupation does not automatically grant them a right to service in a private establishment. Federal law enforcement officers, including ICE agents, are not a "protected class" under federal civil rights laws (protected classes typically include race, religion, sex, national origin, color, disability, and age).
Stand with your workers. Stand with immigrant families. Don't stay silent while our communities are under attack. ✊🏽
