Fresno Juneteenth and The Fresno City and County Historical Society celebrated Juneteenth on June 19th. This event was a "celebration of the liberation of African-Americans" and took place in Fresno. Organizers hosted a live panel discussion inside The Archive on Kern about Fresno's Black community. The event was opened to the public.

The Juneteenth event was named "Black Fresno Today" and featured businesses and food trucks operated by Black owners.

uSpark spoke with Ráyne Valverde who was a vendor at the event about the significance of celebrating Juneteenth in Fresno.
